Hiker looking NNE from the unnamed dome rising SSW over Lower Palisade Lake. At center is Middle Palisade Peak, which, In typical geographical naming fashion, is actually at the SW end of the Palisade Crest. Similarly, even though the Palisade Lakes are below, this is not the Palisade Basin, (located across a ridge just to the NW out of frame left. Smoke hazing the left is drifting up Palisade Creek from the Windy Peak Fire down the Middle Fork of the Kings near Simpson Meadow...hence the extreme depth hazing.
